A record-high temperature of 74 degrees was set in Denver on Monday.
The city surpassed its old record of 72 degrees, set on the same day in 1901, shortly after 3 p.m. Monday.
The National Weather Service has predicted warmer and drier conditions for the next three months.
At 4 p.m. Monday, Colorado Springs also tied its record-high temperature of 72 degrees, set on March 2, 1901.
