June 2009 will go down in the record books as the second wettest ever with 4.86 inches of moisture and just .10 inches away from the wettest June set way back in 1872.
And because we had all that moisture and more clouds, the heat never really got going so June 2009 had no 90 degree days at all.
Last June we had ten 90 degree days, but only .73 inches of rain.
For the year, so far, Denver has recorded 10.38 inches of moisture. Normal is 8.09 inches, but the first six months of 2008 only saw 3.04 inches.
