Parker residents are evaluating the damage left by Thursday afternoon's hail storm, which measured inches deep in some neighborhoods.
It was so deep that some people had to shovel it out of the way, just like snow.
"I've lived here for 16 years and I've never seen anything like this," said Lisa Marshall, Parker resident.
Her home was hammered by a hailstorm that lasted 15 minutes. "The screens on the south and west side of our house area all gone, so we have to get those replaced," said Marshall.
The hail left indentations on her fence, and left her prized geraniums shredded.
The neighborhood seemed to be in shock once they surveyed the damage. "Very surprised, because it came so quickly," said Jessica Steiner, Parker resident.
Her window shutters were busted up by the hail. When asked if she thought it might be expensive, Steiner repliled "I'm worried about that."
As much as two to three inches of hail accumulated in some yards in Parker. Dozens of trees also were damaged in the storm.
