Gustav comes right on the heels of another powerful storm, Tropical Storm Fay, and has proven to be deadlier, killing dozens of people in the Caribbean. Gustav hit New Orleans as a Category 2 storm, but the city was largely spared with more remote regions feeling the brunt of the storm.
