Frank Shorter (running legend)Olympic gold medalist Frank Shorter lives in Boulder, and if you don't happen to see him jogging on trails near Wonderland Lake, you'll at least see a) a bronze statue of him near the northeast corner of Folsom Field or b) a giant image of him on a running mural on the side of a building at the corner of Broadway and Spruce. He won the marathon in the 1972 and 1976 Olympics. He and Cliff Bosley founded the Bolder Boulder 10K running race.
