DENVER (AP) ― The Denver Broncos have waived six players while picking up a Mexican linebacker as part of the NFL's International Practice Squad Program.

The players waived yesterday are: linebacker Brandon Archer, punter Danny Baugher, quarterback Cullen Finnerty, wide receiver Taylor Jacobs, defensive end Julian Jenkins and safety Vickiel Vaughn.

Meanwhile, linebacker Manuel Padilla will join the Broncos during their 2008 season. Padilla will only be eligible to play in the preseason. He is one of 16 players from seven countries in the International Practice Squad Program this year.

The last time the Broncos had a player from the program was in 2005, when they had defensive tackle Patrice Majondo-Mwamba from Congo.
