Fake Coyotes At Coors Field To Scare Geese

DENVER (AP) ― Legendary baseball pitcher Lefty Gomez once attributed his success to clean living and a fast-moving outfield.

Well, the three newest members of the Colorado Rockies outfield can't move at all -- they are dummy coyotes.

Tthey were installed to scare off the geese munching on new sod at Coors Field.

It is a technique that has been used by state troopers around the nation -- putting cardboard fake police cars in spots where drivers won't initially be able to tell they are fakes and thus will slow down.
