Clint Hurdle Reads For Kids At Children's Hospital

DENVER (CBS4) ― Colorado Rockies Manager Clint Hurdle is using the off-season to give back to the Children's Hospital.

Tuesday, the skipper read a few holiday stories to the patients and their families.

The books were donated by Kohl's department stores. Kohl's also presented the hospital a check for $364,000 for the campaign to prevent shaken baby syndrome.

Hurdle has been a huge supporter of the Children's Hospital since his daughter received care there. Madison was born with a rare genetic disorder called Prader-Willi Syndrome, resulting in low muscle tone, morbid obesity and other problems -- including seizures.
