Broncos Announce Talent Search For Fans

CBS4 Broncos Insiders Sign Ups: Get Broncos Email Updates or text 4broncos to 66247 for free wireless text updates

DENVER (CBS4) ― The Denver Broncos announced plans Thursday for the team's first Broncos Country Talent Search. Three winners will have the chance to perform before a 2008 Broncos home game.

A live audition will be held at Invesco Field at Mile High on April 23. Spots in the live audition are limited and are being awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Fans interested in registering for the live audition should contact Patrick Brougham at (720) 258-3117 or patrick.brougham@broncos.nfl.net.

The team also is accepting video submissions on DVD or VHS. All videos must be received by May 11.

A group of finalists will be selected from the auditions and video submissions to perform at the team's annual Fan Fair on June 7 and 8. Fans will then be able to vote online at BroncosCountry.com for the three winners.

"We've had fans in the past send us everything from songs they've written about the team to videos of their dogs counting players' numbers," said Bobby Mestas, manager of special events and fan development for the club. "We thought we'd put out an open call to all our fans to share their unique talents with us, and then go a step further and let our fans also decide who they'd most like to see actually perform at a game."
