Avalanche left winger Cody McLeod has signed a new contract with the team that will pay him $3.1 million through the 2011-12 season.
McLeod made $522,500 last season when he scored 15 goals to be the Avs' third-leading scorer. McLeod also lead the team in hits with 194.
The contract was announced Saturday.
