Torrealba hit .267 (4-for-15) with one RBI and a walk in his four games with the Sky Sox June 23-28. The Rockies catcher is hitting .230 (14-for-61) with 2 home runs and 7 RBI in 19 games Major League games this season.

The Rockies designated catcher Paul Phillips for assignment to make room for Torrealba. Phillips started Wednesday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers and went 0-for-2 with a walk.
