Staff Sgt. Justin L. Bauer, 24, of Loveland, Colo. died on Jan. 10, 2009, in Baghdad after a bomb went off near his vehicle in Iraq. Bauer was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
