Boulder District Attorney Mary Keenan says in a deposition that sex was used to lure recruits and that athletics officials had ignored her demands to crack down. Keenan appoints investigators to re-examine allegations stemming from a party CU recruits attended in which several girls said they were raped. "Neither myself nor any of my coaches have ever encouraged or condoned sex as part of the recruiting process, period," head football Coach Gary Barnett says on Jan. 29, 2004, after Keenan's pronouncements were made public.
