Wheat Ridge Offers Discounts On Prescription Drugs

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo (CBS4) ― Starting Monday the City of Wheat Ridge will be helping its residents beat the recession by saving on prescriptions.

The city is offering free discount cards through a program sponsored by the National League of Cities.

It offers savings of 20 percent off the retail price of some common drugs and they can be used at nine pharmacies in the city.

The cards are available at Wheat Ridge City Hall and online.
