The Jefferson County Workforce Center will be holding two hiring events this week.

Aerotek, a technical and professional staffing agency, will be on site interviewing for a local manufacturing company on Tuesday and recruiters from the Denver fire and Denver police departments will be on hand on Thursday.

"We are here to assist job seekers find work and employers to find employees," Larry Brown with the Jefferson County Workforce Center said in a prepared statement.

Both events will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Laramie Building located at 3500 Illinois Street in Golden.

The manufacturing company is hiring for machine operators and material handling positions.

The police and fire departments will be distributing information and answering questions about their open application process.

Those attending should show up dressed for an interview.
