Obama Plays Ball With Lombardi At Denver Club

DENVER (CBS4) ―

Sen. Barack Obama found himself in a pick-up game of basketball Tuesday night with CBS4 sports anchor Vic Lombardi at the Denver Athletic Club. Obama arrived in the Mile High City the night before a Wednesday morning campaign event in Thornton.

Lombardi said he was at the club to play ball and found Obama organizing a pick-up game.

The sports anchor was able to get a cell phone picture with the Democratic presidential candidate to prove their on court association.

Lombardi said the Senator posted up against him a couple of times during the game. Lombardi noted he was careful not to foul Obama as he normally would with other opponents since the Secret Service was watching.
