McCain Schedules Campaign Stop In Denver Next Week

DENVER (CBS4) ―

Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain will campaign in Denver on Monday.

McCain will appear at the Denver Center for Performing Arts. The DCPA says the campaign has reserved a ballroom.

A formal announcement from McCain's campaign is expected by Friday.

McCain had previously scheduled a campaign appearance at the The Aspen Institute's Greenwald Pavilion on Aug. 14, two weeks before the Republican National Convention starts in St. Paul, Minn., on Sept. 1.

Patrick Kelly, who works in the institute's development office, said in late June a time for the event has not yet been determined. Tickets will cost $10 and went on sale July 30.
