8 Puppies Found In Road Need A Home

GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) ― Eight abandoned puppies were hoping for new homes after being left in the middle of the road.

It was a sweltering day in Weld County when a man driving down the road nearly hit the crate. He stopped to investigate and found eight pit bull puppies.

The man brought the dogs to the K-9 Bed and Biscuit shelter in Greeley.

The puppies are now safe, healthy and ready to be adopted.

One found a family Tuesday morning, but the other seven are still waiting.
