Dog Owners Urged To Update Distemper Vaccinations
WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) ―
Dog owners are being urged to update their pets' distemper vaccinations after an outbreak in Wheat Ridge.
Distemper cases are being found in raccoons on the greenbelt that runs along Clear Creek.
Distemper is an airborne virus that can be deadly to dogs, especially puppies and older dogs.
Symptoms include nasal discharge, coughing, vomiting and diarrhea.
