'Hands-On' Slavery Lesson Causes Furor In N.C.

Parents and teachers in Charlotte, North Carolina are furious after their children were chosen to illustrate a slavery lesson during a field trip to a local plantation. They say the hands-on history lesson at the historic Latta Plantation during a Rea View Elementary class trip Wednesday was way out of line and unnecessary.
