The Dallas Cowboys still aren't saying whether Tony Romo will play with a broken pinkie on this throwing hand Sunday against the St. Louis Rams.
Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said Friday the team is ready to play with 40-year-old Brad Johnson as the starter. He called Romo a "bonus guy."
Romo was expected to miss up to a month after he broke his right pinkie when he was sacked on the first play of overtime in last weekend's 30-24 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. But Romo told coaches earlier this week he wanted to try to play.
