Hundreds Of Soldiers Leave For Iraq Today

CBS News Interactive: Iraq – 4 Years Later

SALT LAKE CITY (CBS) ― About 450 Utah National Guard Soldiers are expected to leave today for a one-year deployment to Iraq.

The soldiers are from the Guard's 145th Field Artillery units based in Logan, Spanish Fork, Manti and Camp Williams.

For one unit in particular they truly leave as a band of brothers.

Of the 90 soldiers from the Manti unit there are nine sets of brothers. There are also fathers and sons and cousins who will be serving together.

Twins Brad and Bryan Moulton are among those being deployed.

Bryan Moulton says the brothers have gone through everything together. He says even though they'll be so far away from family and loved ones he's happy to have his brother nearby.
