Thousands Show Up For Fun In Sun At Water World

FEDERAL HEIGHTS, Colo. (CBS4) ― The smell of sunscreen filled the air at Water World Saturday morning. The first sunny Saturday in more than two months brought thousands to the water park.

Memorial Day weekend was pretty much washed out by heavy rain, so Saturday the park figured some 5,000 people would join the fun.

Water World just finished some improvements on one if its wave pools. At Thunder Bay swimmers can now ride the wave non-stop.
