Highlands Ranch Veterans Monument

Highlands Ranch has honored the nation's service men and women. Volunteers have worked for years to build a veterans monument in Civic Green Park.
The effort started more than three years ago and it has really paid off with a monument right in the heart of community.
The monument draws in visitors with a path leading to its center.
Volunteers raised most of the money by selling dedication tiles honoring veterans and active service members.
"The meaning for this is very important to our community because we have a very specific, important location in the heart of the community that will celebrate the contributions of veterans and active members of the military," Sherry Eppers with the Veterans Monument Committee said. "Those contributions that they've made to our nation for a number of generations."
