Officer Finds Jacket Of Missing Colorado Man
DENVER (AP) ―
The family of a missing 20-year-old Colorado man says they are holding out hope that he's still alive after officials found his belongings near Lake Michigan.
Trevor Boehm attends college at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
He was reported missing last week after his parents came out for a visit and could not find him. He also had not been in class nor seen in the dorm.
Police found his college ID cards, his keys, cell phone and other items among the rocks on the shore of Lake Michigan near campus. The Coast Guard searched the water and did not find anything. They have called off their search.
Boehm's sister spoke to reporters Thursday night and says her family is still hopeful Trevor will be found alive.
Boehm is from Monument.
