Police are looking for the husband of a woman killed in her home in Thornton on Thanksgiving.
Claudia Ceballos was stabbed to death in her apartment near Thornton Parkway and Gale Blvd.
Neighbors say Ceballos had three children in their teens. Her son found her and flagged down a neighbor for help. There wasn't much she could do.
"I never expected to find what we found," Andrea Trujillo said. "I expected this totally different thing. I expected to see someone alive and just bleeding a little bit. I didn't expect to walk into a scene so horriffic like that."
The victim lived with her husband Roman Munoz Mendoza. Police think he was the last person to see her alive that night.
They also believe he took her car. It was found abandoned on West 32nd Avenue in Denver.
They would like to talk to Mendoza but can't find him. Police told CBS4 Ceballos' husband has family in Dallas and New Mexico.
