Texas Head Coach's Wife Injured Hiking In Colorado
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) ―
The wife of Texas football head coach Mack Brown was injured Saturday while hiking a trail near Boulder, where the Longhorns beat Colorado.
Sally Brown, 54, was taken to Boulder Community Hospital with a possible broken wrist and cuts to her face after falling on a rocky trail southwest of Boulder at about 10:30 a.m.
The Daily Camera newspaper says rescuers were called to three separate nonfatal hiking and climbing accidents near Boulder Saturday. The most serious was a 51-year-old man who fell 30 feet from a cliff in Eldorado Canyon State Park, breaking both ankles.
Texas beat Colorado 38-14 later Saturday afternoon.
