Superior Climber Falls 50 Ft. At Eldorado Canyon

ELDORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) ― A Superior man was airlifted to a Denver hospital after falling during a climbing outing in Eldorado Canyon State Park.

Emergency crews responded to the scene just inside the park at about 6:50 p.m. Sunday on a report that a man had fallen about 50 feet, Boulder County Sheriff's officials said.

Responders discovered an unresponsive man with head cuts. Witnesses reported the man had been climbing up a rock face when he fell.

Aside from the victim's name, no other details about his identity were provided. He was wearing safety gear at the time of the accident.
