A new survey placed Denver at the top of a list that is nothing to brag about.
Denver is ranked number one for the most stressed out city in America.
A survey done by the American Psychological Association showed more than 75% of people in Denver report significant stress related to work and money.
Nearly half of adults say their stress levels have increased over the last year.
35% of Denverites rated their stress level as either an "8," "9" or "10" on a scale of 1 to 10. That's compared to the national average of 24%.
People from Denver also reported stress related to physical problems such as chronic health problems and being overweight. 67% of Denver residents have been told by a doctor that they have a chronic health problem. 31% of folks living in Denver have high blood pressure, another 28% are overweight or obese and 23% have high cholesterol.
