After three and a half years, Centennial celebrated an extreme mall makeover. The Streets at Southglenn, at the corner of Arapahoe and University, opened for business Friday morning.

The $310 million project incorporates other new shopping areas, with mixed use retail and living space, and a central park area with fountains.

The redesign includes shopping, restaurants, office space and luxury apartments. Farmers markets and an ice rink will be seasonal features.
