Skiers and snowboarders in Colorado are loving all this snow.
The storm is breathing new life into ski country.
Across Colorado's high country, most of the ski areas got about a foot of snow from Thursday morning to Friday morning. Winter Park got slightly less -- 4.5 inches -- and Monarch got more -- 15 inches.
"It's extremely exciting for us, especially with the timing of spring break," said Vail Resorts spokeswoman Amy Kemp.
While the lifts were hauling skiers up the slopes at the company's four Colorado resorts, its corporate office in suburban Denver was closed because of the weather.
