Investigators Search Home Of Matt Murray In Arapahoe County

ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) ― Authorities told CBS4 Monday that the gunman in the shooting at the New Life Church in Colorado Springs is a resident of Arapahoe County.

At midday, investigators were trying to determine if Matt Murray, a man in his 20s, was tied to the shootings 12 hours earlier in Arvada at the Youth With a Mission training facility.

Investigators still have not definitely linked the shootings, but they are comparing facts.

Two people died at each shooting and several others were injured.

Murray was killed by an armed security guard at the church.

Murray's neighbors described him as a recluse.

Officers searched the home of Dr. Ronald Murry late Sunday and early on Monday. They carried out numerous boxes and took photographs.

Police from Arvada and Colorado Springs were set to hold a joint news conference in Colorado Springs to share more details about the case late Monday afternoon.
