A family from Colorado is under quarantine in China because of the swine flu.
Sandy Puc' and her two teenage children were quarantined Sunday after a passenger on their plane was diagnosed with H1N1.
Puc' is a photographer from Littleton and has been posting photos of her experience on Facebook.
The Puc' family is staying in a special hotel, where the conditions are filthy. She also said the food is nothing like the Chinese food served in America.
Puc' said her children understand the situation is not their fault, and hoped they will use it as a learning experience.
"This has actually provided a much more clear picture on China and the reality of what things are here, what it's like to be in a country where we don't have freedoms like we have back home," said Puc' in a phone interview.
The family expects to be released from quarantine on Sunday, just four days before they are set to return to Colorado.
Puc' said despite what they have been through, they are excited to see what China has to offer.
