RTD Sets New Ridership Record

DENVER (CBS4) ― The Regional Transportation District has set a new ridership record.

The agency says more than 100 million people rode the rails or the bus between July of 2007 and July 2008. That's their highest 12-month total ever.

RTD says high gas prices are the main reason as drivers choose to take public transportation so they won't have to fill up their tanks.
