Teacher's Aide Arrested For Alleged Sex Chat

A teacher's aide from Golden was arrested Tuesday for allegedly contacting an investigator with the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office who was posing as an underage girl online.
Frank Lee Pierce, 30, is accused of introducing inappropriate sexual content into the conversation. He appeared Wednesday in the Jefferson County Court. Prosecutors have until Friday to file charges.
The investigation which resulted in Pierce's arrest began last Friday when the investigator, posing as a female under the age of 15 was allegedly contacted by Pierce under screen name "mysterio2716." Pierce was arrested for suspicion of Internet Luring of a Child, Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child, and Promotion of Obscenity to a Minor.
Pierce is a paraprofessional (teacher's aide) at Stober Elementary School in Lakewood.
The District Attorney's Office has been informed by the Jefferson County School District that Pierce has been placed on paid administrative leave. He is also a girls' basketball coach in a youth recreation league.
Pierce is being held at the Jefferson County jail on a $10,000 bond. He is scheduled for receipt of charges at 10:00 a.m. Friday, courtroom 1B of the Jefferson County Courthouse.
