Officer Injured After Getting Hit By Semi

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) ― A Broomfield police officer is recovering this holiday after he was hit by a semi truck while on his motorcycle Thursday night.

It happened at Sheridan Boulevard and East 9th Avenue.

Investigators say the officer was trying to pull-over the semi, which may have been involved in a road rage incident.

The semi pulled in front of the officer and he crashed into the median.

The officer broke an ankle and finger.
