Ralph Nader To Open Colorado Campaign Office
DENVER (AP) ―
Ralph Nader campaign officials say they are opening an office in Denver to prepare for a rally during the Democratic National Convention.
Officials say staff at the headquarters will focus on Nader's "Open the Debates" rally where Nader supporters hope to challenge Democrats to talk about universal health care, Iraq, and impeachment during the presidential debates.
The rally is planned Aug. 27 at the Magness Arena. Supporters plan to open Nader's state office Thursday.
Nader campaign officials say he is on track to be on the ballot in 45 states.
Nader's campaign says they are on the Colorado ballot in November. All Nader needed here was $500 and the names of nine people who would vote for him in the Electoral College if he wins the state.
