Loveland Man Killed When Thrown Off Motorcycle

LOVELAND, Colo. (AP) ― A Loveland man is dead after he crashed his motorcycle on U.S. Highway 34 in Larimer County.

The Colorado State Patrol says 38-year-old Timothy Imhoff was eastbound on his Yamaha motorcycle Sunday night when he lost control and went of the right side of the road.

Authorities say he was not wearing a helmet when he was thrown from the motorcycle.

Imhoff was later pronounced dead at the Medical Center of the Rockies.

Trooper Gilbert Mares says alcohol, drugs and excessive speed are not suspected as possible factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
