Move To Denver Launches Career For Meese

DENVER (CBS4) ―

Meese is a band whose sound is described as melodic rock and now that sound is getting national attention.

Meese is preparing its first national record and to take the stage at the Mile High Music Festival in July.

"Rockin' and Shakin'" promises 16 new songs from Meese, all filled with the band's own brand of energy.

Patrick and Nathan Meese arrived in Denver a few years ago from Cleveland and formed the band with Ben Haley and Mike Ayars.

Meese has been voted the best pop ban in town and has been selling out shows as well as touring.

Last fall they got the deal with Atlantic Records, making Meese another national act which owes its success to the Denver music scene.

Meese will perform Saturday, July 19 at the Mile High Music Festival.
