With many people cutting back because of the economy, the music industry has come up with a way to help concert goers out.
Promoters behind the Mile High Music Festival are allowing people to buy their tickets on layaway.
Tickets to the event are pricey. Last year a weekend pass went for $150. A single day pass was $50. A VIP weekend pass was $495.
Layaway or installment plans at Bonaroo and Coachella music festivals are in place for this year. Expect the Mile High Music Festival to follow all because of the struggling economy.
A variety of plans are being floated around at other festivals and for full festival passes.
Given the state of concert prices, the festivals remain a great value.
