Teens Face Charges After Lakewood Brush Fire

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) ― A pair of 14-year-old boys are facing charges in connection with a brush fire in Lakewood.

The fire that broke out last Monday burned 5 acres of dry grass in Green Mountain Park.

West Metro Fire officials say the teens started the fire with a lighter while playing in the open space area.

The fast moving fire caused $25,000 in damage to two homes.
