2 Homes Burn In Aurora, Fireworks May Be To Blame

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) ― Firefighters are trying to figure out if fireworks caused two homes to burn in Aurora.

The fire started just before 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the 1400 block of East Security Way.

Firefighters know that the fire started in the backyard, then it spread to two homes.

Two propane tanks used for grilling fueled the fire.

No one was injured.

The Red Cross is helping one family with housing.
