Man Dies After Denver Restaurant Shooting

DENVER (CBS4) ― Someone shot and killed a man in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant in northeast Denver late Thursday night.

The shooting happened at about 9 p.m. in the parking lot of a Sonic restaurant at 4305 Chambers Road.

Investigators said the victim was driving through the drive-thru when two men approached his vehicle. One of them shot the man.

The suspects drove away in a dark colored SUV.

The victim then drove himself to University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora where he later died, police said.
