A wildfire burning in Fremont County has forced residents in the Los Pinios and Corley Ranch subdivisions to evacuate.
The wildfire has burned 15 acres south of Florence on North County Road 15.
The Bureau of Land Management is fighting the fire from the air while crews from the Fremont County's Wildland Fire Team, Penrose, Canon City, Florence and the Colorado State Forest Service are battling it from the ground.
The fire began burning at about 12:15 Friday afternoon on mostly private property. The cause of the fire is unknown.
