Fire Damages 3 Businesses In Louisville Strip Mall

LOUISVILLE, Colo. (CBS4) ― A strip mall fire heavily damaged three businesses early Tuesday morning, firefighters in Louisville said.

The fire was reported just before 2 a.m. in the 900 block of West Dillon Road. No one was inside and there were no injuries to firefighters.

A police officer on patrol spotted smoke. There was no word on a cause.

It took three hours to bring the fire under control.

A chiropractic office, the Cut It Out craft store and the Ink Coffee Company were all severely damaged by the flames. All three businesses will be indefinitely.

Louisville fire officials estimate the damage between $300,000 and $400,000.

The American Red Cross Mile High Chapter sent a mobile feeding vehicle to the scene to supply the estimated 35 firefighters with food and beverages.
