Remains of the recent snow made it tough for firefighters to reach a home that caught fire in Evergreen Wednesday afternoon.

Heavy snow still on the road delayed firefighters 20 or 30 minutes. The first floor of the home was fully involved in flames when they arrived.

No one was home at the time.
