Motorcycle Parade Held In Memory Of Emily Keyes

LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) ― It's been two years since a gunman killed Emily Keyes at Platte Canyon High School in Bailey.

From the tragedy "Emily's Parade" was born. The motorcycle ride raises money for school safety.

Hundreds of riders came out to Columbine High School and rode about 40 miles to Platte Canyon High School. The line was long and loud, so was the support for the I Love You Guys Foundation, named after the last text message the 16-year-old sent to her family before being killed at her school.

"I have a teenager. He goes to high school. This means something to me," said Anita Margaittai. "The violence in schools; that's something that needs to be stopped."

Proceeds from Emily's Parade will support programs of the foundation.
