Shootout In Denver Sunday Night Injures 2

DENVER (CBS4) ― The Denver police gang unit is investigating a shootout in northeast Denver that left two men with gunshot wounds.

The incident happened at about 7 p.m. Sunday at Bruce Randolph and Madison.

Police said people in an SUV and someone on the sidewalk exchanged gunfire.

The person on the sidewalk was shot in the foot.

Police found the bullet-riddled SUV abandoned about a mile away. They also found a man who had been shot in the shoulder.

The injuries were not life threatening.
