Mural Celebrates History Of Denver Police Dept.

DENVER (CBS4) ― The Denver Police Department celebrated 150 years of service on Friday by unveiling a mural that shows an historical look at how the department has evolved.

The mural was painted by artist Greg Hammer. It took him more than 130 hours to create the mural.

It highlights images from current day officers to recruit training activities at the department through the years.

The mural is located in the police academy on North Akron Way in Denver.
