The southernmost end of Regional Transportation District's southeast light rail line from Lincoln Avenue and County Line Road remained closed during the Friday morning commute after power lines came down on the tracks early Thursday. The closure was expected to last until at least mid-day Friday.
Crews were re-stringing the power lines since late Thursday afternoon.
Trains couldn't run throughout the day Thursday from the Lincoln Avenue station to Dry Creek Road station because of the repairs to the tracks and the power line work.
RTD shuttle buses were being used to move people back and forth from the Lincoln and County Line stations to the Dry Creek station. The buses were back in place Friday morning.
No one was hurt by the downed power lines.
